Welding and Cutting Sales Technician
Linde (750 employees, €250 million turnover), the French subsidiary of the world leader in the industrial gases market, is a key player in the production and sale of gases for industrial, agri-food, research and health applications. We are looking for :
A welding and cutting sales technician (SOCO) M/F
As part of a sales team, reporting directly to the Sales Manager and working closely with the Marketing Department, you will be responsible for monitoring and developing your business in a defined sector and for a business dedicated to SOCO (welding/cutting), in line with objectives and in compliance with the sales policy.
As part of your role, you will be required to :
- Identify prospects and build customer loyalty by implementing all the technical and commercial solutions at your disposal, or by purely commercial action.
- Close the sale,
- Providing important support and acting as an active relay on the ground for the sales force in order to achieve the SOCO objectives of the entire CP (profit centre),
- Run internal and external SOCO training courses,
- Achieve a new sales budget,
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, etc.
- Carry out customer audits.
- Listening to the market, the competition and specifiers.
You have 4/5 years of higher education, such as an engineering degree supplemented by a commercial degree or a business school supplemented by a technical degree.
You will have successful B-to-B sales experience in an industrial environment and expertise in welding/cutting.
Proficiency in office automation tools (Word, Excel, Power Point) is essential.
Fluency in English is important for the development of the role and subsequent career advancement.
Frequent travel.
