Profile: We are looking for a technician with significant experience in the metal bending sector as a workshop manager. - You must have a Bac Pro boiler making qualification or equivalent and initial successful experience as a workshop manager.

Contract: Open-ended contract Experience: 3 years minimum

Starting salary: 30K per annum

Working in a production unit with around twenty employees, organised in 3 shifts with team rotation, you will assist the site manager:

- Allocate production resources, ensuring that deadlines, quality and priorities are met

- Ensuring compliance with order scheduling and production times with the planning, methods and logistics departments

- Managing materials and ensuring that they are properly stored in the workshop, particularly raw materials - Organising equipment maintenance and carrying out "first level" repairs

- Contributing to quality improvement and monitoring corrective actions in collaboration with the quality department - Participating in the recruitment of operators. Support, train and assess operators in post.

- Ensure the optimisation and improvement of methods
 

- Monitoring production practices and resources

- Analysing and reporting on economic profitability You will be a driving force behind proposals for work organisation and methods, and will be involved in new equipment projects.

Expertise in sheet metal cutting (punching, shearing), bending and mechanically-welded assembly.

- Expertise in the use of cutting-edge equipment (press brakes with bending assistance system and AMADA automated punching line)

- Have the teaching skills to lead and train teams of operators - Be serious, rigorous and analytical

- Respect for procedures and quality - Commitment and flexibility will be key to success - Knowledge of the building facade industry to understand the requirements in terms of quality and deadlines would be a plus.
