Sheet Metal Workshop Manager

SCT is the sheet metal workshop of Froilabo, a manufacturer of laboratory equipment. Part of the workshop's activity is also dedicated to external customers.

SCT is looking for a draughtsman (M/F) who will also be responsible for the sheet metal workshop (5 people).

You will be responsible for :

Drawing 2D and 3D plans on Solidworks
- Drawing parts in accordance with customer requirements, and producing overall and detail drawings
- Creating sheet metal developments (sheet metal module in Solidworks)
- Create parts lists for manufactured parts and put them in a library
- Produce technical documents (manufacturing and assembly instructions, files on manufactured parts, etc.)
- Preparing cutting files for production
 

You will also :

Manage and supervise the various operators (punchers, folders, welders)

- Organise and monitor the production flow.

- Supervise machine settings (Trumph folding machine, Amada punching machine)

- Check conformity of parts

- Perform first-level machine maintenance

Above all, we're looking for someone who is willing and dynamic, keen to get involved at all levels of the company and committed to team spirit. Your experience will enable you to work independently and make suggestions.
- Perfect command of Solidworks (2D and 3D, sheet metal module)
- Knowledge of sheet metal and manufacturing techniques
- English would be a plus but is not essential.
