Our client is an SME employing around 40 people, specialising in the production of parts by sheet metal forming (stamping, bending, forming, bending, etc.). These parts are produced individually or in very small series, for prototyping or testing purposes prior to large-scale production.

This position reports directly to the manager of the ‘Form’ workshop (sheet metal work, folding, welding, bending), which employs around ten people.
As a Multi-skilled Bending Operator, you will be responsible for carrying out all bending operations on the parts assigned to you.
Your versatility will also enable you to work on sheet metal, welding, etc.

As such, you will be required to:  

- Read and interpret drawings
- Make the necessary adjustments to the presses (manual and NC)
- Carry out the corresponding bending operations, possibly by creating, modifying or using suitable tools
- Check the parts produced, using traditional equipment (callipers, squares, gauges, etc.) or specific templates
- Carry out first-level servicing and maintenance on your press.
- Multi-skilling according to the workload of the Sheet Metal/Welding department....
 

- With initial training in sheet metal work, you will have significant experience in a similar position and be familiar with fine sheet metal work.
- You are highly autonomous in carrying out the work required.
