Through six industrial associations, it brings together more than 700 companies that employ more than 16,500 people and invoice more than 3,000 million euros per year. From its headquarters in San Sebastian and its offices in Tianjin (China), AFM CLUSTER works to promote internationalization, industrial and technological development, strategic positioning, digitization and training of the people of its associated companies.
The six interrelated and synergistic sectors grouped by AFM CLUSTER are the following: machine tools and advanced manufacturing technologies (AFM); additive manufacturing and 3D printing (ADDIMAT); hand tools, hardware and industrial supplies (ESKUIN); machining and metalworking transformation (AFMEC); technology-based companies and startups (UPTEK) and smart technologies for advanced manufacturing (STECH).
