With an export index of 70% on the turnover and constant attention to new technologies for industrial automation, OMERA has been a leading player in the sheet metal forming sector since 1951, with the production of mechanical and hydraulic presses, trimming-beading machines and turnkey production lines.

OMERA is present with its machines in various sectors of application as household appliances, expansion vessels, oil & gas, automotive, ventilation, heating, traffic signs, aerospace, tanks and pressure vessels, submersible pumps and magnetic sheet blanking.

Our factory is GREEN. We meet our energy needs thanks to a 600,000-kW photovoltaic system and guide our choices towards sustainable development, engaging with solutions that limit the environmental impact of products and processes, reduce costs and increase competitiveness.
 

At EUROBLECH 2022 we will exhibit our new machining centre R1600CNC with electric axes for trimming and beading. This machine represents the state-of-the-art technology due to its enormous flexibility in the processing of round and polygonal panels and for its low energy impact, and finds considerable success in the sector of road signs and furniture.

The R1200CNC machining centre is equipped with brushless motorized work units for trimming, beading, rolling and turning convex bottoms. The brushless motor moves the units in both working directions for high precision and flexibility of machining.

The programmable work parameters with a large library of recipes allow quick tool setting with consequent reduced machine downtime for production changes. Compared to hydraulic and pneumatic units, brushless motorized work units guarantee shorter maintenance times and significant energy savings.

The system is interconnected in the network to other new OMERA machines arranged in line. The PLC makes the data available in reading and writing to allow the IT / logistic systems of the factory to interact with the trimming-beading machine. Through customer's PC it is possible to remotely monitor, modify, record and recall the set-up and production data of the machine. Thanks to OMERA Teleservice, it is possible to carry out remote diagnostics with a consequent reduction in downtime for maintenance. The system is also able to monitor the working conditions of the machine.
