I oversee a dynamic team responsible for driving the company's innovative product development. By aligning the efforts of the product management team with the company's vision and customer needs, I facilitate the creation and enhancement of technologies that strengthen Salvagnini's reputation for excellence in the sheet metal processing industry.
Background

After three years of experience in product engineering, Pierandrea joined Salvagnini's project management teams, where he successfully managed over 300 projects involving Salvagnini systems across Europe and the Far East over a decade. His work spanned various products and industries, deepening his expertise and broadening his perspective. Drawing on this extensive experience, Pierandrea established the Product Management Office in 2014. He now leads he coordination of both the Product Marketing and Application teams, ensuring seamless integration between product development, marketing strategies, and customer solutions.

Vision for the sector

The sheet metal industry serves a wide range of sectors, each with different products, production strategies, and highly advanced customers. This drives the need for innovative solutions, often in new application areas. One example is the use of artificial vision, which we began implementing in 2015 and have since developed further, applying it to a variety of distinct use cases.
