Background

Dr. Harald Scherleitner, MBA, is Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and a member of the management team at Fronius International GmbH. Born in Upper Austria, he began his professional career with an apprenticeship in electromechanics. He subsequently completed an MBA program and a degree in business administration. In 2024, he earned his doctorate in International Management. After several years in a leadership role within Fronius Battery Charging Technology, he returned to his original passion—welding technology—in 2016, becoming the Business Unit Manager and Global Director Sales & Marketing for Fronius Perfect Welding. Today, as CSO, he is responsible for the global sales, marketing, and service strategy across all strategic business units (Welding Solutions and Solar & Energy) at Fronius.
